General Management

This exciting and broad ranging three year programme will provide you with the business and management skills necessary to launch your career towards a management position. Spending a year in each the Manufacturing, Financial Services and Hospitality sectors , you will have the opportunity to work across the entire organisation gaining valuable operational experience and exposure to all areas of the business.
Not only will you gain practical skills but this programme is also accredited with a recognised Diploma in Management. We expect that applicants for Management Graduate positions will hold a relevant Business Degree and at the end of the three years will secure a management position with the Company.
Insurance Management

This programme is two years in duration and based in the Financial Services sector. During this time you will gain valuable experience in various departments engaged in many areas of the Insurance Industry - Underwriting, Claims, Commercial, Private Motor, Life and General Insurance Management (e.g. credit control, human resource management or other support services). Each of these areas offer a challenging career path, but you need not be tied to one specialism at the outset. Our policy is to give you a broad spectrum of experience in each aspect of Insurance Management allowing you to specialise at a later date.
We will provide extensive support and training to develop and nurture your leadership potential. Over the two years, you will also participate in a formal training programme which will include sponsorship for relevant Irish Insurance Institute certification, Management training and business focused projects. We require an Honours degree in Business studies or similar discipline.
Accounting and Finance
"A pathway to a career as a Chartered Accountant"
Our Accounts and Finance department plays a key role in supplying control and management information to all our businesses. This role is particularly important within a group of companies which is expanding as quickly as the QUINN group.
Based in any sector of the organisation, with possible rotation to others, this graduate programme is three and a half years in duration and is accredited by the Association of Chartered Accountants. You will work closely with a senior qualified Accountant and gain real exposure and practical knowledge of our business environment.
You will have at least at 2:1 Honours degree in Economics, Accounting or related business field. It is envisaged that by the end of the programme you will be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant with responsibility as Company Accountant for a sizeable business unit.
Engineering

You will work alongside experienced Engineers who will guide your development as you contribute practically on a daily basis and strategically in our long-term plan.
During the four years of our Engineering Graduate Programme you will gain a management qualification while working towards your Chartership with a Professional Body.
You will have an Honours degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic engineering but more important is your motivation and a desire to learn.
