General Questions

Where can I find out about current career opportunities?

All of our current employment opportunities can be found on our website by clicking the Search and Apply link in the main menu options

How do I know if I meet the job posting criteria?

Both education and work experience requirements for all positions are stated within the postings. Please take a moment to analyze the specific requirements of each job against your own qualifications to determine whether you meet these requirements before submitting your resume.

How do I apply for employment with the QUINN-group?

If you find a job posting of interest to you and you meet the qualifications, please apply online through our online career centre

What is the general recruitment process?

  1. All resumes received for posted positions are reviewed against the job specifications once the closing date has passed.
  2. Short-listed candidates are contacted by the HR Department to arrange an interview. Please include a telephone contact number as you may be telephoned to arrange a time.
  3. Face-to-face interviews are scheduled. In some cases a second interview may be required.
  4. Reference checks are conducted before making an offer of employment. You will be contacted prior to this to confirm referee details.
  5. Successful candidates are contacted and an offer of employment is made.

Why do I need to register?

Registration allows you to protect the information you submit. It enables you to apply for other positions quicker by storing the information you submit once and track the progress of your application.

To help ensure this information is protected, only you should know the username and password you use for this site.

Is my registration information secure?

Yes. Your use of this website is governed by the Privacy and Confidentiality provisions detailed in our Privacy Policy.

How do I deactivate my account?

You may delete any saved information at any time. To delete your account entirely, please e-mail careers@quinn-group.com.

Online Application Questions

How do I know my application has been received?

You will receive an e-mail acknowledging that we have received your resume. We will also notify you if our recruiting team determines your skills and background match our current hiring needs.

How do I update my contact information?

To change your e-mail address, name or postal address, click on the "My details" screen and then "Edit my details".

Job Process Questions

Can I apply for more than one position at a time?

Yes, just select the vacancy you wish to apply for each time and apply in the normal manner. After your first application your details will be saved but you can edit, delete or add to this information if required.

I don't see a posted opportunity that interests me. Can I submit my resume for future opportunities?

Yes. General applications should be submitted to the Speculative Vacancy position for the company you wish to apply to. These applications are reviewed continuously.

I am unable to apply online. What should I do?

You can still apply by posting your CV and a covering letter stating the position you are interested in to the relevant company. Addresses are found under the Contact Us section.

When is the deadline to apply?


Closing Dates for Graduate Programmes :
  • 1st January 2009 - Accounting & Finance
  • 1st January 2009 - General Management
  • 1st January 2009 - Engineering
  • 31st January 2009 - Insurance
  • 1st June 2009 - Hospitality Management (Applications from 1st April 2009)

How many people will you be taking on and when is the proposed start date?

The number of graduates we take on each year depends on the business needs. It is important to us that each graduate has a carefully assigned mentor and a challenging role to assume. Proposed start dates are variable but preferably between the July and September after you graduate.

How do I find out about the QUINN-group graduate events this year?

Check out the graduate recruitment section and click on Upcoming events. You'll find out which fairs and universities we'll be attending.
